FAQ
Questions before you start
How notes, bookings, the calendar, and billing work. Billing rules in full are on the terms page.
Does ZNEX store the session recording?
No. ZNEX stores the caption text you send. It does not store an audio or video file of the session. Caption text stays on the therapist’s computer until they send it.
Does the draft replace the therapist?
No. The clinician reviews, edits, and approves the final note. A draft is not the client record until they do.
Which note formats are available?
SOAP, DAP, BIRP, and a narrative progress note. Drafts are written in English.
Can I remove the transcript?
Yes. After a final note is saved, Download & destroy saves the PDF and clears the transcript, draft, and final note in ZNEX. ZNEX keeps that text until you remove it. There is no automatic expiry.
How do clients book?
Each clinic has a public booking page. A request shows up with the appointment on the practice calendar.
Does the calendar connect to Google?
Yes. Appointments can connect to Google Calendar, and online sessions can use Google Meet. The client, the time, and the note stay with that appointment in ZNEX.
Where do invoices and receipts live?
Client invoices, email receipts, financial reports, and the ZNEX plan, including Workspace seats, are managed in the clinic billing area. Google still bills the Workspace license itself.
Is Google Workspace included in the ZNEX price?
No. ZNEX bills the Znex plan and extra Workspace seats. Google bills the Workspace license separately.
What is the difference between Solo and Clinic?
Solo is one Google Workspace seat. Clinic includes one seat and bills extra seats. Clinic also includes roles, a shared calendar, and financial reports. Znex logins are free on both.
